In this live online class, artist Richard Parrish teaches how to create striking bas-relief effects in kilnformed glass using fiber paper molds—a key difference from traditional plaster-silica casting. The class includes the instructional video Working in Shallow Space with Richard Parrish, which introduces the core projects and deepens understanding of material choices, color palettes, and coldworking techniques.
