Ted Sawyer received his BA in art with a focus in ceramics from Lewis and Clark College. From 1992-1993 he was the artist in residence at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, Oregon. In 1997 he joined Bullseye, where he is the Director of Research & Education and the Creative Director of Bullseye Studio. Sawyer teaches and lectures internationally, directs the production of Bullseye’s online educational videos, and guides the development and fabrication of large-scale works in glass for other artists. His glass work—featured in Corning’s New Glass Review 28, 30, 31, 35, and 37—has been exhibited at galleries and museums around the world. See his work at tedsawyer.com.
