Dr. Joanna Manousis

Dr. Joanna Manousis is a British-American artist creating sculpture and jewellery in glass, mirror, and mixed media. Her work often mimics other materials, creating perceptual shifts and altered experiences of reality for the viewer. Manousis earned her PhD at The National Glass Centre, England, and holds both an MFA and BFA in Glass and Sculpture.

Her work has been recognized through nominations for the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award and the Bombay Sapphire Award for Excellence in Glass, as well as the Margaret M. Mead Award and the Hans Godo Frabel Award. Joanna has worked, studied, and taught in Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia, and has been teaching classes for Bullseye Glass Co. since 2014.
