Your purchase of the Vitrigraph Kiln Orientation includes an in-person tool orientation at your local Bullseye Glass Resource Center. This session ensures that you can safely and effectively pull different types of custom stringers for your projects. Completion of this orientation qualifies you to rent the Vitrigraph kiln at Bullseye.

With the Vitrigraph kiln, you can create your own unique line work—ranging from delicate threads to bold, expressive strokes—by pulling molten glass within a crucible through apertures in both the crucible and the kiln base. This dynamic tool opens up endless opportunities for personal expression in your fused glass work.

In this Tool Orientation video, we’ll walk you through how the Vitrigraph kiln operates, how to load and heat the pot, and how to pull and shape your molten glass safely. You’ll also learn about tools, timing, and how to control line quality through temperature, movement, and gravity. By the end, you’ll be ready to start pulling with confidence and creativity.

Requirements

Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required. Eye protection and gloves will be provided. You may also bring your own protective gear.
