Combine the Reactions and Other Special Effects Online Class with this Studio Sessions add-on to make your class projects in a Bullseye Resource Center studio. This Studio Session Add-On includes workspace, tool access, kiln firings, and more. Separate purchase of the class Reactions and Other Special Effects is required.
Fire up your inner alchemist! In this live online class, you will explore the intrigues of glass chemistry, the subtle and dramatic reactive potential of various glass styles, how some glasses can develop unusual surfaces, and how to work with silver foil. By class's end, you’ll understand the art of harnessing (or avoiding) all sorts of reactions and special effects in Bullseye glass. Don’t let anything hold you back!
THE IN-PERSON STUDIO SESSIONS ADD-ON FOR REACTIONS & OTHER SPECIAL EFFECTS CLASS INCLUDES:

- Long-term access to our Lap wheel Orientation video — bonus content not covered in the Reactions and Other Special Effects Class!*
- 1 Open Coldworking session to finish your projects on the Lap wheel if desired
- Slump firings (including mold rentals) to finish your 4 final projects
Studio Sessions:
Reactions and Other Special Effects Studio Sessions includes 3 in-person visits to the Bullseye studio. These studio sessions can be reserved any time between Reactions Class One and Two.
- Session One: Sample Making. In this 4-hour session, you will spend some time in the Resource Center selecting and purchasing (at 50% off!) glass for up to 18 samples. In the studio it’s time to cut, document, and assemble samples featuring the reactive combinations you wish to explore.
- Session Two: Scaling up! In this 4-hour session, you will assess the results of your fired samples and choose designs to scale up into 4 finished projects. Once your designs are chosen you can shop for additional glass as needed (at 50% off!) and assemble your projects.
- Session Three: Coldworking and Slumping. In this 2-hour session, you will clean up your projects and prepare them for slumping. If desired you will complete your Lap Wheel Orientation (video and Class Guide included with your Studio Sessions Add-On) and coldwork the edges of your projects. Once your projects are cleaned, you will load onto our slumping molds and RC staff will assist with kiln programming and kiln setup as needed.
To get started after your purchase of both the online class and the studio session, go to Account > My Downloadable Products where you'll be able to download your Studio Session Guide. The Studio Session Guide along with your Reactions Class Guide contains instructions and information you’ll need to complete your projects.
