Pop Portraits in Glass – Online Class Pop Portraits, Video Only
Make your portraits pop with light and color! In this video-only version of the popular class, you’ll learn how to capture a photo of someone special and take it beyond paper by fusing it onto luminous glass.
You’ll select a digital portrait to immortalize. Using the Class Video in the downloadable Class Guide, you’ll perform some basic editing on the image using your smartphone, tablet, or other device to prepare it for cutting on a Cricut Smart Vinyl cutter. You’ll then cut your vinyl and powder-print the image onto glass using the vinyl as a stencil.
Portraits will no longer languish on your phone or yellow on your wall—they’ll shine in timeless color and artistic flair, ready to brighten any space.

Please note: You need access to a Cricut Smart Vinyl Cutter, a kiln, and a digital device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone) that can run the free Cricut Design Space software. See the class Supplies and Resources list.
The Cricut makes translating designs from digital to glass efficient and repeatable. You'll learn simple graphic editing online, and after a little practice, you’ll be creating your own portrait series!
