Vitrigraph Plate, Santa Fe, January 25, 2020

In this 2.5-hour class, you’ll make curving lines by pulling strands of molten glass from a modified kiln known as the Vitrigraph. (Proper safety equipment will be provided.) Once cooled, these strands are referred to as Vitrigraph stringers. Next, you'll use these swoops and swirls to develop a drawing on a 7.5" x 11" plate. Plates will be fused and slumped after class and ready for you to pick up several days later.

None. All experience levels welcome.
