Freedom! This workshop equips students to create new and unusual shapes with their fused glass. Not only does this class aim to free you from the need for commercial molds, its ambition is for you to achieve custom shapes that avoid any process texturing and achieve total transparency. This five-day workshop covers all theoretical aspects of fusing and kilnforming (such as firing cycles, etc) and is suitable for students with a few years of prior experience in glass fusing. You can expect to finish the class with at least three different objects in hand and all the knowledge necessary for repeating the process in your home studio.
Prerequisites A few years experience with glass fusing, especially with glass cutting.
