Using colored glass powder, frit, and stringer as media for painting on sheet glass allows for a radical expansion of what is possible using traditional painting materials and methods. This variation on Bullseye's popular Painting With Glass class includes a systematic approach to using glass powders. You'll start by creating a 20-piece reference palette using colored powders, and then move on to a series of exercises with a broader range of materials and methods. Finally, you'll apply what you've learned about the effects of heat, color, texture, chemical reactions and more in your final, self-directed pieces. This class is appropriate for all skill levels. No prerequisites.
