During this intensive workshop you will learn how to create glass that fits with virtually any other object. To this end, we will employ a wide array of techniques and materials including kilncasting, flat and compound lamination, myriad adhesives, and carving methods in the coldshop.
About the Instructor
Weston Lambert lives in Northern Utah’s Cache Valley and creates his work in a small studio attached to his home. His sculptures have been included in Glass Quarterly and Sculpture, and have been shown both nationally and internationally at exhibits such as SOFA Chicago and the Cheongju Craft Biennale in South Korea. In addition to the works he creates for galleries, Weston has also recently completed public commissions of glass, metal and stone for the cities of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Geneva, Illinois. westonlambert.com
