Learn to create your own thick, elegant tabletop—and select a stylish table base to display it!

Class Times
Saturday 10am-4pm

Create your own 15" x 18" tabletop, combining the simplicity of sheet glass with the luminous depth made possible by frit tinting. Working thick in glass can be a new experience for many artists, so this class addresses the basics of volume calculation, annealing thick slabs, developing rolled edges on thicker work, as well as the range of color and design effects that can be achieved through frit tinting. Price includes the student’s choice of stylish accent table base (nickel or black powder-coat finish, retail value $70-115). Tabletops will be fired after the workshop and available for pick-up a few days later.

“Crash Course in Glass Cutting” and “Glass Fusing Fundamentals” or equivalent experience.
